Tuesday Night Poker League Member Agreement

Section 1:  Definitions

Terms appearing in BOLD CAPS within the Tuesday Night Poker League Member Agreement, shall have the definitions provided for herein, in Section 1.

The term “AGREEMENT” refers to this Tuesday Night Poker League Member Agreement.

The term “TNPL” refers to the Tuesday Night Poker League created by the AGREEMENT.

The phrase “TUESDAY NIGHT TOURNAMENT(S)” shall refer, individually and collectively, to the regularly occurring Tuesday night poker tournaments hosted by the TNPL, but shall not include the WILD CARD TOURNAMENT.

The term “PLAYER(S)” refers to any MEMBER or non-MEMBER who participates in a TUESDAY NIGHT TOURNAMENT.

The term “MEMBER(S)” shall mean any person who made, at least, one DONATION, here by ratifying and agreeing to abide by the AGREEMENT.

The phrase “QUALIFIED MEMBER” shall mean any MEMBER who has contributed not less than $200 in DONATIONS to the FUND.

The phrase “LEAGUE SCORE” shall mean the points awarded to a player on a given TUESDAY NIGHT TOURNAMENT  to a MEMBER.

The phrase “WINNING QUALIFIED MEMBER” shall mean any QUALIFIED MEMBER awarded an EVENT seat through the TNPL.

The term “FUND” refers to the cumulative monies collected from DONATIONS from the MEMBERS and QUALIFIED MEMBERS for the purpose of meeting the objective outlined in Section 3 of the AGREEMENT.

The term “DONATION(S)” shall refer to either (1) the $10 voluntarily contributed by MEMBERS and QUALIFIED MEMBERS at each TUESDAY NIGHT TOURNAMENT, (2) the buy-in for the WILD CARD TOURNAMENT or (3) any monies voluntarily contributed to become a QUALIFIED MEMBER at the close.

The phrase “TOURNAMENT POINT(S)” refers to points awarded for performance in a TUESDAY NIGHT TOURNAMENT.

The term “EVENT” shall refer to any of the $1000 No-Limit Hold’em tournaments held during the World Series of Poker at the Rio Casino in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada.

The phrase “WILD CARD TOURNAMENT” shall refer to the tournament after the end of the league season, when all non winning QUALIFIED MEMBERS can donate an $80 buy-in. NO CASH AWARDED in this tournament, winner gets a seat into the EVENT.
